I, Too, poems

I, too, know about God
 I am the “Terrorist” sister
They treat me like the villain
When an attack happens
But I feel
And I take it in, and I know it will happen
 Tomorrow,
I will defined myself
When it happens again
Nobody should dare
Say to me
“You are a terrorist”
Once again
 Additionally,
They will see my pride,
And they will learn that we are all the same
 For I too, am America

I, too, come from parents

I am the mixed sibling
I am teased for my colour
They send me away from the social groups

But I relate,
And I share,
And I educate

And maybe tomorrow ,
They’ll allow me to join the group
When we share once more
Nobody will ever
Tease me for my skin
They allow me to join
Finally

Additionally
They’ll see my unique shade
And will let me join

Because I, too, am America

Picture
This is my little prince artifact piece which represents the universal theme, patterns, and the generilzation are enablers. This represents this because in chapter 12, my chapter, there is a man on this planet and he is a drunkard. He drinks to forget the shame that he feels for drinking, so this bottle represents his shame.

Rene Descartes

The head represents a rational mind. Which is a mind of indivduality without authority. Leading the mind to have their own thoughts without the prescence of an authority type, tradition, or culture.
The could is the act of thinking. It is an act of doubting. Such as the people he saw outside but one could doubt they were men.
This also leads to, "I think therefore I am.". He is saying if we think we exist. The only way to know you exist is by being able to think.
Descartes had the phulosophical idea "Cogito ergosum.", in latin or, "I think therefore, I am.". Which explains, I think therefore I exist. This is important because he says the only way we know we exist is by thinking. Descartes also says that we, humans, are only alive to think, but he has also said authority should not influence the was you think. Yet he is an authority in the world of phyosophicaology.

"I think therefore I am", at first this quote to me meant a physical or a mental. Now after the lesson, "I think, therefore I am" now to me means if I think, I exist. Which to me is now more mental than physical yet it does have physical aspects as you prove you exist.

Growth vs Fixed Mindset project

Growth Mindset Project
In growth vs. fixed mindset, a person with a growth mindset shall learn from their mistakes and continue to learn while a person with a fixed mindset doesn’t learn from their mistakes and easily gives up when confronted by a challenge. However the people with a fixed mindset automatically think that they can’t reach their goals and highest potential, eventually the people with the fixed mindset will stop trying. You can compare both mindsets as cars, one car(Growth Mindset) will be well prepared for a long journey and the other car (Fixed Mindset) will go on the long journey unprepared un unfilled with gas and eventually the car will break down and give up without accomplishing the journey. There are many details that support the origin of how the people adapt to a growth or fixed mindset. People with a growth mindset embrace challenges meanwhile people with a fixed mindsets avoid challenges. All of the adaptation takes place in the person's mind. If the people believe that they will succeed and think anything is possible, then they’re the type of people that will adapt to a growth mindset and reach higher levels of achievement. People with this mindset think that anyone can be anything if they have the proper motivation. Many modern psychology knows  about how belief systems about your own abilities creative abilities are static givens which we cant change in any meaningful way. Teachers nowadays are trying to teach students to grow a growth mindset by having them do some online programs that teach students that all the hard work and motivation put in for school and work will pay off by developing their talents and and that anything is possible. People with growth a growth Mindset believe that intelligence can be developed. In this mindset they learn from criticism, they also find inspiration in others. In this mindset people reach higher levels of achievement. There's another mindset in which these traits are not a simply a hand you're dealt with and have to live with.

People with fixed mindset believe that after failure they can not do anything to reach or go above their goals. It’s just like a shattered mirror. Once it’s broken you believe you can’t fix it, yet there is always a way. When a person has a fixed mindset, the person gives up easily and avoid challenges. It is dangerous when a parent tells their child that they are smart because when the child struggles in school they may think that they aren’t smart after all because when the child thinks that, the child will start adapting to a fixed mindset. Also when facing a challenge, the child will become scared and less resilient when facing an obstacle. Carol Dweck a psychology professor says that culture can also an effect on your beliefs. A college physic teacher went to India where no one believed that you had to be a genius or even smart in the field of physics. Another piece of evidence is the study on the ten year old students. The fixed mindset students gave up without a try, while the growth mindset students accepted the challenge. The reason this is important is because no matter if you are a growth or fixed mindset person, this is a good article that many could learn from. Adults can help foster a growth mindset but many teachers take it the wrong way by telling the students that they could do better if they try harder. When a student with a
fixed mindset they give up because they think that they aren’t good at the subject the challenge is based off on. When a student has a growth mindset, the student believes that the brain is like a muscle that can grow stronger by accomplishing hard work.
Our visual project represents a rocket ship and a solar system. The rocketship is prepared for its journey through space. The first rocket which is ready for flight represents growth mindset while the abandoned rocketship symbolizes the fixed mindset. The planets are courses of challenges that the rocketship has to complete to go on it’s journey and beyond. The rockets destination is mars but it goes beyond mars all the way to neptune. We hope you enjoyed our visual presentation.

When I first started to think about the quote “I think, therefore I am.”, written by René Descartes, I started to think. Is it more mental or physical? In my opinion, it could go either way depending on the situation. Personally I think it’s more mental than physical. In this day and age in the society we live in, there is a different variety of opinions. I think it’s something everyone can relate to and can use it personally.
